If you have broken down right now, do these four things

One: get out of the travel lane if the car will still move at all. The shoulder is dangerous; the travel lane is far worse.

Two: get visible. Hazards on, and if it's dark and you have them, triangles or flares well back up the road.

Three: find your mile marker. On I-64 the small green markers are the fastest way for anyone to find you, and 'near the airport' covers several miles of interstate.

Four: get out of the car and stand well away from traffic, on the far side of the guardrail if there is one. Then call.

Call the shop number and tell us what you need. Our repair hours are Monday to Friday, 8 to 5 — recovery is arranged case by case, so the fastest answer is a phone call, not a form.

Can you tow me somewhere other than your shop?

We can. Most people would rather it come here, but it is your car and your call.

I broke down on I-64 near the airport. Are you close?

Very. We're at 320 W Williamsburg Rd in Sandston, about a mile from the interchange and a few minutes from Richmond International. This exact stretch of road is most of what we tow.
